Alan has been an active photographer for the last 40 years or so. His interested started when taking black and white photos for his “A” level project, developing and printing them all in the bathroom at his home using his fathers darkroom equipment – that was a few years ago!

Alan was awarded his Licentiate qualification from the Master Photographers Association in 2004 for his portrait photography and has a busy studio on the premises at his home where most of his work is now undertaken. Alan has the ability to take exciting pictures that capture those relaxed moments to make your portrait shoot a truly memorable occaision.

Alan was awarded the Alan Meacher Trophy for his pet photography by the Wessex region of the MPA in 2007 and has also received awards from the MPA in the Fashion and Glamour and pictorial categories.
